19^th Annual Georgia Women’s Assembly -  November 2009 at The Loudermilk Center

The Georgia Women’s Assembly: Change is all Around Us” brought 200 new and experienced advocates together to hear Lilly Ledbetter, Ellen Bravo, and a special video greeting from Michelle Obama who challenged us to uncover ways for women to participate equally in the workplace with the support of their employers. Women discussed issues related to domestic violence, child prostitution, the state budget and foreclosure in workshops and learned the skills and information we will need to be effective advocates in the upcoming session of the General Assembly.
